Only three weeks of soup supper left, Retha McCutchen speaks in CCS course…

We have just three Wednesdays before summer barbecues begin, so come on down for a home-cooked meal and fellowship with wonderful people. Volunteers are always welcome to help set up and take down the tables and chairs for the meal. Soup is free but donations are accepted from those who can afford to help us offset the costs of feeding the hungry.

After supper, we have many classes and activities for people of all ages. Children and youth have gatherings tailored to their specific age groups, a silent and shared prayer group meets upstairs in room 120, and the Center for Christian Studies (CCS) offers a course in 121/122.

In youth gathering, George Fox University‘s Jamie Johnson will share with the youth. This week in CCS, Retha McCutchen shares about Palestine and being the gospel in a majority Muslim culture. We hope you can join us for one of these activities.

In other news: Clerk Pastor Ken Comfort was asked by Senator Jackie Dingfelder to give the invocation at the Oregon State Senate on Monday, May 16. You can listen to the prayer by clicking on this link (initiates a download), it begins around the 2:28 mark.
