Barbecue on Wednesday, Family Movie Night Premiers Thursday
We’re gathering on the back lawn (weather providing) for our third Summer Barbecue. The first two have been full of laughter, good conversation, and of course, FOOD! Bring some food to share (side dish, meat, drinks, dessert) and share in the bounty that others bring. Barbecues begin at 5:30 pm and run through about 7:30. A silent and shared prayer meeting begins at 7 pm in room 120 and handbells are recruiting new members (also meeting at 7 pm, in the worship center.
Thursday night brings the first of our Family Movie Nights! We’re gathering in Ong Chapel to watch Disney’s Tangled. A twist on the story of Rapunzel, Tangled is an animated adventure that follows the kingdom’s most wanted – and most charming – bandit, Flynn Rider and his run-in with a beautiful princess locked in a tall tower. The film is rated PG for brief mild violence. Join us for an evening of laughs, adventure, and a little popcorn! The movie starts at 6 pm!
