“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.” ~ Ephesians 1:11 & 12, The Message
Easter is this coming Sunday, April 8! We want to invite you to join with us in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus on Sunday morning at 10am. We’d also like to extend an invitation to participate our annual Easter breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30am in the Friendship Center.
Our Easter celebration will include musical offerings by our brass quintet, children’s choir, praise band, and adult choir. We will also have a special recitation of Calvin Miller’s The Resurrection from The Singer.
We’re also pleased to announce that we will have a commissioning prayer for Carrie Hutchinson and her trip to Kenya for the 2012 World Gathering of Friends this April.
There will also be an Easter Egg hunt for children aged two through eleven years old following the Easter celebration at noon.
