A Letter from Virginia Smith

Posted on

Virginia Smith sent the following in a letter to the gathering at Reedwood Friends:

My dear Reedwood family,

Words cannot express my appreciation to all of you for the lovely memorial service for R’Dean that you were all responsible for—the service was beautiful and the lunch was wonderful.  R’Dean’s sister and niece were here from Denver for the service. They lost their husband (and father) a year ago and his funeral was so sad they dreaded coming for R’Dean’s memorial. They felt wonderfully uplifted and thought the service was beautiful—I thought so too!

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making the service so special.  I also want to thank you all for the lovely lunch–the many beautiful cards—the wonderful flowers and the many well wishes and prayers when I was ill.

Thank you, dear friends, thank you Ken.

I love you all!
